OUR NETWORKS
Traffic Watch Bangladesh (TWB)
In 1997, CWCS launched Traffic Watch Bangladesh (TWB) – a network of national and grassroots NGOs/CBOs which has more than 400 members covering nearly all the districts of Bangladesh. CWCS has provided training and technical support to build their capacity in counter-trafficking activities such as prevention, awareness raising, protection, legal support, rescue, rehabilitation, re-integration etc. Moreover, our counter-trafficking activities being implemented at the grassroots level were always with the collaboration of the TWB members.
We conducted orientation of the police on child rights issues where we emphasized on child trafficking issue and the role of the police at 398 police stations throughout Bangladesh jointly with the TWB members.

Alliance for Women Migrant Voices (AWMV)
In 2022, CWCS launched Alliance for Women Migrants Voices(AWMV) – a network of 22 national and grassroots women rights organizations to work on safe migration of women to combat trafficking. We organized national level advocacy meetings, information sharing meetings with service providers for AWMV network members for strengthening their capacity by creating awareness among women of their rights as migrant workers and to fight against slavery-like situations while working abroad. The AWMV members are now knowledgeable about whom to approach and what government support services are available when women migrants from their areas are suffering abuse and exploitation abroad and how to economically reintegrate them after return.
CWCS is based in Dhaka with branch office in Satkhira district but it has outreach programs with coverage throughout Bangladesh with the collaboration of TWB and AWMV network members.
Red Heart Campaign Network
On 30 July 2022, CWCS launched the Red Heart Campaign to Promote Child Rights and subsequently on 1 February 2023 launched the Red Heart Campaign Network – a network to promote child rights of sexually abused, exploited and trafficked children. The membership is open to organizations, activists, researchers, social workers, youths, media personnel, law enforcing agencies and stakeholders working to promote child rights and save children from exploitation. It is an online platform mainly to collaborate and learn from each other experiences and best practices. We are regularly sending Red Heart Campaign Network Bulletins to network members. On 31 July 2023, we organized a Webinar to celebrate the one-year of the Red Heart Campaign to Promote Child Rights with guest speakers from home and abroad and active participation of the network members. Presently, there are 152 grassroots, national and international network members.
